How we spend donations
Donations to MSF help us save lives. These gifts help pregnant women give birth in safety, treat young children with malaria and provide surgery for people wounded by bombs and bullets. They give us independence from political interference and red tape and allow us to act without delay or obstruction.
"When someone points a gun at you and asks 'who sent you?' I can answer that it was people who care. This can mean the difference between life and death" MSF logistics specialist Steve Hide.
Over a year your donation of:
£7 a month covers the cost of medicine to treat 68 people for malaria in a country like Sudan.
£16 a month can buy pills for a six-month course of treatment to cure four patients of tuberculosis.
£20 a month can give 10 babies the drugs to protect them against the transmission of HIV from mother to child.
Your single donation of:
£42 can pay for a kit to ensure a safe delivery at home for five mothers and their babies.
£62 will pay for vaccines to inject 350 children against measles.
£96 will pay for treatment for one person living with HIV/AIDS for one year, and can give them hope for the future.
